Yesterday, P and I went on a long hike. In addition to my Nikon D850, I packed my Nikon FM2. It was loaded with Fomapan 200 film because I wanted to take black-and-white pictures. But in the end, I kept it in the bag. Foolishly, I had not considered that black-and-white film could not capture the beautiful spring colours. Luckily, I had the D850 to fall back on.
Nikon returned the D850 about a week ago. The repair was perfect and made the camera look new. But, this time I did not get the gift of a free lens wrap.
