I use IE for pages using a lot flash. My CPU goes nuts if I use Firefox in that particular situation.

Personally, I think each browser has its advantages and disadvantages. The best browser would be one which combines the best of IE, Firefox, Safari, Opera and others.

What I like (browsers available on Windows):

IE: Handles flash better
Firefox: How it handles a "Find"
Safari and Opera: How they highlight all the occurences of the keywords of a "Find"
Opera: Opens contextual menu when a word double-click and speed dial

On the Mac, I use Safari and Firefox.

Seriously, for casual browsing nothing beats IE7.
