"But eventually, RSI catches up, especially when I code all day for a living. Which is worrying in a way."

You can run but you can't hide. You're right, it is worrying. Most of us make a living using a computer keyboard all day. And then we go home and spend more time on our computers.

I don't have an issue with the mouse, as I've learnt to move my arm instead of just my wrist from the start.

I also think that the reason why it took me so long to develop RSI symptoms is because I've always tried to control my speed when typing so as not to over-stress my fingers. But eventually, RSI catches up, especially when I code all day for a living. Which is worrying in a way.

I know that pain, having experienced it myself. The best thing one can do is to take some days off, and avoid using a keyboard during those few days. Easier said than done though. For example, I spend a lot of time on my computer during weekends. This is when I get most of my essays done.

A mouse can be as bad as a keyboard. I used to move my mouse with my wrist only instead of my whole arm. I now use my left hand to move my mouse (I am right-handed).
